Terms and Conditions for past Angel Bay Competitions
The terms that apply for all Angel Bay competitions are:
- CRITERIA: You must be a New Zealand resident and have a New Zealand delivery address to be eligible to enter.
- TO ENTER: Conditions for entry are detailed in the Facebook and/or Instagram post, including like our Facebook Page or Follow our Instagram account (depending on your method of entry).
- ANZCO Foods employees, immediate family members thereof, and employees of the agency involved will not be permitted to participate in this competition.
- Angel Bay will post the winners name via Facebook or Instagram to arrange for prize delivery after the competition is over and the winners have been determined. If the winners do not contact or reply within two working days, Angel Bay have the right to choose the next available winners without any prize replacement to the original winners.
- Angel Bay reserve the right to disqualify all entries that are deemed to be inappropriate or offensive to other users. Angel Bay reserve the right to withdraw competitions or amend dates if required.
- Judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
- Winners names may be published on our website and via social media channels.
- The prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Angel Bay competitions are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. By entering and participating, entrant agrees to hold harmless, defend and indemnify Facebook or Instagram from and against any and all claims, demands, liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), losses, costs or expenses, with respect to or arising out of or related to (i) entrant’s participation in the Sweepstake, or (ii) entrant’s participation in any Prize related activities, acceptance of a Prize and/or use or misuse of a Prize (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s).

- As a condition of participating in a promotion, the winner indemnifies the Promoter, all organisers, sponsors and all other persons and organisations associated in any way with that promotion against all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal fees on a solicitor and client basis) which the Promoter may incur arising out of the winner’s participation in the Promotion and/or participation in a prize, howsoever caused.
Angel Bay Smoky, Tangy & Cheesy Beef Patties Competition 2023 Promotion on Instagram (“Promotion”)
Terms and Conditions
1. Instructions on how to participate in the Promotion form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

3. The Promotion is open to New Zealand residents who are ages 18 years or over excluding employees of the Promoter and any agency involved with this Promotion, and the immediate families of such employees (“Entrant”).
4. The Promotion commences on Monday 8th May 2023 and closes at 11.59pm Monday 22nd May 2023.
5. To enter the Promotion, entrants must comment on the Promotion post posted on the official Angel Bay NZ Instagram page (“Promotion Post”), available at https://www.instagram.com/angelbaynz/ during the Entry Period.
6. Entrants must enter using their own Instagram account.
7. Entries must be received by the Promoter before 11.59pm Monday 22nd May 2023. Entries are deemed to be received at the time they are received by the Promoter, and not at the time of transmission by the Entrant. Any entries received outside of the Entry Period will be null and void and will not be entered into the Promotion.
8. Five entries will be chosen at random and will receive an Angel Bay Prize Pack, including: 4x Angel Bay Vouchers, 1x $100 Supermarket Voucher, 1x Apron, 1x Thermometer, 1x Chilly bag (“The Prize”)
9. Winners will be notified by a reply to their comment on the Promotion Post from the official Angel Bay NZ Instagram page.
10. In the event that the Promoter is unable to contact winners within 48 hours of the relevant winner being determined, the Promoter may deem that winner’s entry invalid and select a new winner.
11. Prizes will be delivered at the Promoter’s cost to the address nominated by the relevant Prize winner provided such address is a valid residential address in New Zealand.
12. The Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash or other compensation.
13. All taxes (excluding goods and services tax) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner of the Prize.
14. In the event that a Prize or any part of a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may in its sole discretion decide to provide an alternative prize or relevant part of a Prize.
15. Any expenses incurred in relation to accepting or using the Prize is the responsibility of the winner.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this Promotion, has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion.
17. Neither the Promoter nor any other entity associated with this promotion will be responsible for any late, lost, misdirected or incorrectly submitted entries or votes, including but not limited to entries or votes not received due to technical problems or human error.
18. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion, contact winners, and deliver Prizes and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to New Zealand regulatory authorities. Eligibility to win a Prize is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the Entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter. Under the Privacy Act 1993, Entrants have certain rights of access to and correction of any such personal information.
19. By entering this Promotion, Entrants grant the Promoter an irrevocable non-exclusive licence to use the content of their entry, or any part of the content of the entry, in any way the Promoter wishes (including modifying, adapting, copying, cropping, retouching, editing, publishing, broadcasting or communicating the entry whether in original or modified form in whole or in part) in all media for the purposes of the Promoter's business on its website, social media or in any marketing campaign, without payment to the Entrant of royalties or compensation. If requested by the Promoter, Entrants agree to sign any further documentation required by the Promoter to give effect to this clause.
20. By entering this Promotion, Entrants consent to the Promoter dealing with their entry content in any way that may otherwise infringe the Entrant's moral rights, and agree not to assert their moral rights (wherever such rights are recognised) in respect of their entry against the Promoter or its assigns, licensees or successors.
21. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
22. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or the responsibility of, Facebook. By entering this Promotion, you understand that you are providing your information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. The information you provide will be held and used only for the purpose of this Promotion. Each Entrant agrees to comply with Facebook’s terms of use and completely releases Facebook from any and all liability in relation to this Promotion.
23. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law), the Promoter (including its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, advisors, assignees, agents, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies), excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion or a Prize, including, but not limited to, where attributable to any of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected; (d) any variation in a Prize; (e) any tax liability incurred by a claimant or Entrant; or (f) use of a Prize.
24. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend any aspect of the Promotion (including any Prize or term), or invalidate any affected entries.
25. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at this stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
26. All decisions made by the Promoter its employees or agents are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
This Promotion is governed by New Zealand law.

ANGEL BAY EASTER 2023 COMPETITION

To enter you need to Draw your dream Easter day with Angel Bay and post a photo of your drawing to the Angel Bay Facebook or Instagram page.
One winner will be drawn to win a years' worth of Angel Bay (in the form of vouchers).
Competition closes 11.59pm on Tuesday, 25th April 2023. Winners will be drawn on Wednesday 26th April 2023.

One entry per person, per channel (Facebook & Instagram).
To enter you need to share a photo of your favourite summer spot to the Angel Bay Facebook or Instagram page including #AngelBaySummer. The competition runs from 1st January to 31st January 2023.
One winner will be drawn to win a years' worth of Angel Bay (in the form of vouchers) and where logistically possible the Angel Bay Trailer will be delivered to your preferred location for a BBQ. We will deliver the trailer for your event and collect it 24 hours later.
Competition closes 11.59pm on Tuesday, 31st January 2023. Winners will be drawn on Wednesday 1st February 2023.
